	Traditional Thames Valley ales were always beers which carried a modest alcohol content, but packed in tons of flavour. The long gone breweries of Wethereds in Marlow, or Brakspear in Henley, used shedloads of whole leaf English hops and partially refined molasses sugar to create this character and a magnificent illusion of strength.

This light, citrus-like aroma arises from the use of a highly aromatic American hop variety. Slaapmutske Blond has a pleasant taste and a well-rounded mouthfeel. The aftertaste is very mild with a pleasant bitterness hit.
