| Sharp's Brewery is hoping to raise £10,000 for Cornwall Hospice Care by producing DW, a charity beer tribute to Dave Wickett, a great man and a great brewer who is suffering from cancer.
The hops selected for the beer are American, Willamette, Amarillo and Cascade, producing a clean rounded palate, and an exceptionally clean finish, a comparable beer to the Belgian champagne beer Deus. A limited edition of 1,000 bottles have been produced.

| Another collaboration between Rick Stein and Sharp's head brewer, Stuart Howe, inspired by their original creation Chalky's Bite. Spicy lemon-fruit and ginger predominate the nose with some delicate lychee notes. The heat of ginger lifts the gently-sweet body and contrasts beautifully with citrus fruitiness in the mouth. The finish is light and dry with a prickle of ginger and a subtle, fruity bitterness. Chalky’s Bark is a complex and refreshing beer with tons of character." |

| The idea for Chalky's Bite came about as a challenge from Rick Stein to Sharp's Head Brewer Stuart Howe. The task was to create a distinctly English beer with the character, individuality and quality to stand alongside the Belgian greats. Sharp's have created an exceptional beer with a delicate flavour balance of three different hop varieties and wild Cornish fennel. With a totally natural process and a maturation period of over three months the beer is allowed ample time to develop a high level of carbonation, its own distinctive flavour and a beautiful light golden colour. |
