News of the Brews – November 2017

News of the Brews – November 2017

We’ve got the majority of our Christmas beers available now, with a big British selection including Ilkley Mary Christmas, Rudgate Rudolph’s Ruin, Saltaire White Christmas, Sam Smiths Winter Welcome, Wiper & True Plum Pudding Porter, Weird Beard Black Christmas, Northern Monk Festive Star (arriving mid November), as well as the favourite Christmas Elves from Ridgeway Brewing

Giving a slightly more contemporary and irreverent edge to Christmas, our selection from To Ol includes F*ck Art – Winters Coming, Shameless Santa, Jule Maelk, Black Bauble, Sweet Chai O’ Mine, Frost Bite, Santas Secret, Snowball

HANDSOME! Some great looking cans from Beatnikz Republic. The pick of the bunch is probably Farmhouse Hitchhiker, a saison with lime zest, lots of New Zealand hops, and aged on sauvignon blanc-soaked oak chips, but all bases are covered here – session IPA, pale ale, IPA, grapefruit wheat ale, coffee stout.

God bless you, Wylam Brewery, for your tireless pushing to raise quality and interest in beer today! Current cans are the excellent Remember 430 pale ale and Sweetleaf IPA, complimented beautifully by bottles Splatterberry Sour and Macchiato, a hazelnut praline coffee porter

We’re delighted to have an exclusive on the latest Brew York release – Imperial Tonkoko is a tonka bean & coconut stout, smoothed out with a little lactose, leaving the impression of a liquid Bounty┬ábar. And their DIPA The Hoptimist is a proper beast of a beer too. And don’t forget Blood Eagle, a blood orange and pink grapefruit pale ale, and X-Parrot, tropical fruit IPA brewed with Errant Brewing

We’re loving Sour Smash, Vocation‘s collab with funkmeisters Chorlton Brewing Co (we’ll have their annual release Dark Matter soon). And their collab with Atom, Blueprint, an NEIPA. ANd their DIPA Smash & Grab. And the list goes on. And on. And on…
