As Above, So Below
Rich and zesty, this is a Tempus homage to the ancient winemaking. We bury the amphora (a big brewing pot) in the ground to control fermentation temperature. We blend a golden ale base with fresh-pressed Chardonnay and Ortega grape juice from vineyards in Kent then leave to ferment before ageing the beer/wine hybrid for 6 months for a 6% ABV, pop of pink colour and some sparkling wine like sharpness.
