Product Details

Samuel Smith's Organic Cherry Beer has a delightful cherry aroma and flavour. It pours a deep ruby color with a thin off-white head. On the nose, there are prominent notes of sweet and tart cherries, accompanied by a hint of earthy maltiness. The aroma is inviting, and the cherry scent is not overwhelming. On the palate, the beer is medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet and sour balance that is reminiscent of sour cherry candies. The cherry flavour is bold and pronounced, with a subtle underlying earthiness and a slightly bitter finish that keeps the sweetness in check. It pairs well with desserts like chocolate cake or cherry pie.

BREWERY INFO
SAMUEL SMITH
Sam Smith's is a classic English brewery, founded in 1758 and still going strong. The brewery is notable for using it's own borehole, and fermenting beers in huge stone "Yorkshire square" fermenters. Their beers are sometimes viewed as a throwback to "the olden days", but they are far from old-fashioned - in fact many of their beers inspired the first generation of American craft brewers when they were first imported to the USA in the late 1970s.Over the years, they have moved increasingly towards using organic ingredients, feeling that these give the best results. Their beers are all certified by the Vegan Society.
